Tell us about your experience working with cross-functional teams.

I have had the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams in my previous role as an Estimator. On a daily basis, I collaborated with engineers, architects, clients, and vendors to ensure accurate estimations for construction projects. We would review project plans and specifications together to determine material and labor requirements. I also consulted with suppliers, contractors, and clients to discuss estimates and resolve any issues that arose. This required strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure everyone was on the same page. I found working with cross-functional teams to be incredibly valuable as it allowed for a diverse range of perspectives and expertise to contribute to the estimation process.

Throughout my 3 years of experience as an Estimator, I have developed strong skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams. One example was during the construction of a large-scale commercial building. I worked closely with the project manager, architects, and engineers to analyze project plans and specifications.
