During my time as a Residence Life Coordinator at XYZ University, I noticed that there was a lack of programming targeted towards supporting students' mental health and well-being. I saw an opportunity to improve the residential life program by implementing a new initiative called 'Wellness Wednesdays.' Every Wednesday evening, we would organize different activities and workshops focused on mental health, stress management, and self-care. I collaborated with campus counselors and student organizations to plan and facilitate these events. The response from students was overwhelming, with many expressing gratitude for the support. The 'Wellness Wednesdays' initiative not only provided valuable resources and strategies for students, but it also fostered a sense of community and encouraged open conversations about mental health. It became a staple in our residential life program, and I continued to oversee its planning and implementation throughout my time as a Residence Life Coordinator.

The success of this initiative led to increased student satisfaction and engagement within the residential life program.
