In order to make a quick decision, I consulted with the surgeon and anesthesiologist to determine the urgency of the patient's condition. After discussing the case with them, we agreed that the patient needed surgery urgently. I quickly arranged for another operating room to be prepared and escalated the case to the hospital administration to prioritize the patient. This allowed us to provide timely care to the patient and ensure their condition didn't worsen.
