Tell us about a time when you encountered a challenging problem in power transmission and how you resolved it.

In my previous role as a Transmission Engineer, I encountered a challenging problem in power transmission when we had a sudden power outage in a major city due to a fault in the transmission line. The outage was causing significant disruption and economic loss. To resolve the issue, I quickly assembled a team of experts and conducted a thorough analysis of the transmission line. We discovered that the fault was caused by a damaged insulator. I immediately coordinated with our maintenance team to replace the insulator and restore the power transmission. Additionally, to prevent future occurrences, I implemented a proactive inspection and maintenance program for all transmission line insulators. This included regular inspections and timely replacement of damaged insulators. As a result, we achieved improved reliability and reduced the risk of power outages.
