In my previous role as a Supply Chain Analyst at ABC Company, I faced a challenge when we experienced a sudden increase in customer demand for one of our products. This created a strain on our supply chain as we struggled to meet the increased demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels. To resolve this challenge, I immediately initiated a review of our procurement process and collaborated with the procurement team to identify potential bottlenecks. We found that our lead time for procuring raw materials was longer than necessary, causing delays in production. I worked closely with the procurement team to renegotiate contracts with our suppliers, reducing lead times and ensuring a more efficient flow of raw materials.
