Tell us about a time when you had to work independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

In my previous role as a school nurse practitioner, I often had to work both independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. One specific instance was when we organized a health fair for the students and their families. I worked independently to create a comprehensive plan for the event, including coordinating with various healthcare professionals to provide different services such as dental check-ups, vision screenings, and BMI measurements. During the event, I collaborated with the school counselors, teachers, and administrators to ensure smooth execution. Together, we managed different stations, guided families to the appropriate services, and answered any questions they had. It was a great experience that showcased my ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
