Tell us about a challenging project you worked on. What were the roadblocks you encountered and how did you overcome them?

One challenging project I worked on was designing composite panels for an aerospace application. The roadblock I encountered was the limited availability of a specific type of carbon fiber material required for the project. To overcome this, I extensively researched alternative materials and conducted tests to determine their compatibility with the design requirements. I also reached out to suppliers and collaborated with them to find a suitable substitute. Ultimately, I was able to identify a carbon fiber material with similar properties that met the project's specifications.

One of the most challenging projects I worked on was the design and manufacturing of a composite wing for a UAV. The major roadblock I encountered was the need to optimize the weight and stiffness of the wing structure to ensure optimal flight performance. To overcome this, I utilized my technical proficiency in composite materials and CAD software to design and analyze different layup configurations. I also collaborated with the aerodynamics team to incorporate their requirements into the design. Through iterative testing and analysis, I was able to find the optimal balance of weight and stiffness for the wing, resulting in improved flight characteristics.
