A time when I had to adapt to a changing environment and respond to community needs was when I was working as a program coordinator at a local community center. Our center was primarily focused on providing after-school activities for children, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to quickly shift our programs online. I had to adapt by learning how to use new software and platforms to deliver engaging virtual activities for the kids. I also had to collaborate with parents and community members to ensure that they had the necessary resources and support to participate in the online programs. It was a challenging transition, but we were able to successfully continue providing meaningful activities for the children and maintain a sense of community.
